Let me tell you the first time I personally bought UN55C8000 two weeks ago.
I tried the film on TV was:
Nemo (DVD, 2D)
Legion (DVD format, 2D)
Monsters vs. Aliens (3D mode)
Avatar (Blu-ray, 2D and 3D mode converted)
I changed the format to play on TV in "Dynamic before playing Avatar. I swear the colors I saw in the theater Cinemark was not half as good as they appear on this TV. Magnifico! Awesome!
I tried to watch the same film in 3D. The depth of upconverted 3D function, in part to the good real 3D movie you will see with 3D glasses. This TV will lose a star because of this.
Another star was lost due to bad double-edged (crosstalk image) for some scenes in the movie (Monsters vs. Aliens Act), when you see it in 3D mode. People say it happens occasionally, somebody said: "'" rare. Let me tell you almost all time, the results are considered Aphotic and the article is on fire with it. Example: The plane in the sky that requires the rupture or the agenda of the stern guy who is on a ping-pong battle or the central aspect of the church. 90% of Chinas are burning, so we do not see the double edge of 90% of the time.
God forbid if you get the "Lord of the Rings in 3D architecture in the future, we will see double-edged (or crosstalk) 60% of the time when Chinas accept an absolute Aphotic scenes in it. I looked at Samsung and the cheeky lad me to get the latest promotion on television, I did, but did not solve the problem.
And if I accept the best spent dollars ($ 3,000) for this technology, do not want to be with the top of it.
I played almost Nemo in 2D and in-the-Sea scenes Aphotic had fuzzy edges around the altar in it (like Dory and Nemo's father).
Added things: I qualified to play Blu-ray Cinefrom my laptop and my laptop is absorbed through the television receiver Denon. China looked on TV used to return a laptop is ultra acicular and clear. And I do not perceive Denon receiver. Anyway, it bothered me, as big as the problems of crosstalk in 3D content monitoring.
